Horticulture Courses
At St. Colman's Training Centre we run full and part time Horticulture courses. We specialise in programmes for the beginner to the expert gardener. At our centre we specialise in Organic crop production with the main emphasis on vegetable growing.
Courses now established at Mayo Abbey provide an excellent platform for anyone who is interested in growing their own food or who may be interested in setting up a commercial organic horticulture enterprise.
Our Organic garden comprises of 6 Polytunnels, lean to glasshouse, orchard, field grown vegetables, outside raised beds, various composting methods and wormeries.
